One ATM System shall
be implemented successively
in accordance with the
transition planning
from the beginning of
Phase 2 to 2012 at the
latest. Its purpose
is to accommodate the
operational, legal and
technical demands for
capacity, safety and
economy in the provision
of ATS within the European
ATM-Network. Benefits
in terms of capacity,
safety and economy shall
be implemented progressively
and as soon as possible
to gain overall ANS
cost/benefit improvement
for the airspace users
in the Members’
area of responsibility. |
